Welcome to the Shadow Dragons lair. The Shadow Dragons is an extremely private gaming community. If you have found this page by accident then it is probably best to move on seeing how we are rather picky when it comes to recruiting. If you have been sent to this page then please read on to learn more about the guild.

History
The Shadow Dragons origins dates back to a Star Wars MUSH. Which is an online text based RPG, the original and true MMORPGs. Even though our origins are from the RPG world we are not really an RPG guild. In those days the Shadow Dragons were a group of pirates, masquerading as mercenaries. As the world of MUSHes started to come to an end some of use moved into MMOs. We moved into EVE, from there we went to Star Wars: Galaxies. After SOE destroyed SWG we left for City of Heroes and City of Villains. After a while we went back to EVE. Briefly visited some other MMOs, including Dark and Light and World of Warcraft. We even tried out some first person shooters to keep us going. Then came the Lord of the Rings Online beta, which grab us and kept us going for 2 years. A couple of us play Champions Online and Dungeons and Dragons Online as well.

Current Games
As of now (Dec 2011) we have retired from LOTRO, DDO, CO and various others. We are solely playing Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Future Games
With the release of Star Wars: The Old Republic we have no plans on any other games as of right now.

About Us
The Shadow Dragons have had various sized guilds over the years. From 2 members all the way up to 50 and beyond. There have been a few things that have remained constant no matter the size. We are a family guild. As in we are close. We are not a group of strangers in a large guild. We hang out in game and if possible out of game. We use Ventrilo so we can talk to each other, even if we are in different games at the time. Does this mean we are family safe? As in safe for children. The answer to that is no. We like to joke, we like to mess around, and sometimes the language and jokes do get foul. Plus we only accept members that are 18 years or older, due to the fact we do sign up for betas and you must be 18 years old to be in a beta. We look for maturity, like minded people, people we can have fun with most of the time. It is never fun to login and be surrounded by people you don't know, don't want to know or don't like.

Joining
If you have made it this far and want to give it a shot then talk to the person that sent you to this page or to Narook, on whatever game it might be. There will probably be a trail period, to see if you do fit in and whether we fit with you. It could be a few days or a few weeks, depending upon activity. It is more of a 'get to know you' phase than a true trial period. Seeing how we are an extremely private guild the websites for the games are separate and located at different sites. Once you have been accepted into the guild you will be given the address for the gaming website.
